This bulky textured pattern is the perfect knit for beginners. It boasts a simple 3 stitch/2 row pattern repeat that has great rhythm and uses only knit, purl and yarn overs to create an easy cluster-rib pattern. Definitely a movie binge-worthy pattern!

One size stretches beautifully to fit an 18”-22” head. Pattern is easily adapted for smaller and larger sizes. The gauge is 11st/15rows for a 4” square in stocking stitch with Malabrigo Chunky. Any bulky weight yarn can be used, just check gauge first and adjust cast on count as needed keeping it in multiples of 3.

1 skein each for beanie and cowl. Beanie uses approximately 82 yards and cowl approximately 94 yards of Chunky. Also works up beautifully in Caracol and Rasta! Cast on approximately 39 stitches for beanie and 51 for cowl when using super bulky weight yarn, and use US size 13 and 15 (9/10mm) circular needles. Go on, give them a try!
