This eye-catching hood begged to be made. It was featured in both Der Bazar and La Mode in 1861. It is lighter in nature and ideal for spring and autumn wear, or perhaps for a fancy occasion here you don’t want your hair crushed. The knit of this hood is fairly simple, with a few short rows at the end. It works up very quickly, so you will probably spend more time trimming the hood than knitting.
