Children’s Jumper to fit from 3 to 9 years old

Knit our Rudolph Motif Jumper suitable to fit a child from 3 to 9 years old.

Design:
The front, back and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom-up and sewn together. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline. A chart is provided to complete the motif.

Sizes:
The pattern includes 4 sizes: 3-4, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-9 years old.

Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply)
The jumper shown in main picture is for size 4-5 years old and knitted using:
Stylecraft Special DK shades: Cream (1005), Red (Lipstick 1246), Camel (1420), Brown (1004) and Black (1002).

Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions provided, but experience needed to work from a chart for the motif.

Tension:
22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
