The Rue Bonnie Cowl is designed to be a fun introduction to stranded colorwork knitting. This tubular cowl is started with a provisional cast-on, knit in the round, then given a half-twist to be a mobius shape, and finally grafted to the beginning using kitchener stitch. In three colors of worsted weight yarn, each chart repeat section alternates main and contrasting colors, so each color is used equally. While the original samples use two solid colors and one variegated, any combination of yarns can be pretty in this design! The colorwork calls for only two colors per row, with no floats greater than five stitches.

The original cowl uses Making Tracks in color Paisley and Rauma Fivel in colors 08 and 09.
