Anleitung für 3 Größen:
200/250/300MA (MA = Maschenanschlag)

Ich wurde gefragt, wie man so einen Ruffle Scarf stricken würde. Ich ging in mich, überlegte mir etwas, und probierte es gleich mal aus. Die Stola ist jetzt so geworden, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte, mit einer dezenten Mittelmarkierung und einem kleinen Knötchenmuster in der glatten Fläche. Für die Rüschen muss man etwa 1/3 der Garnmenge einplanen. Im Anhang gibt es einen gekürzten “Zentral-Chart” für 250MA.

Das Tuch wird in Merinowolle gestrickt und ist wunderbar kuschelig warm an kälteren Tagen. Wenn es aber in Baumwolle oder Lacegarn gearbeitet wird, ergibt sich eine ganz andere Optik. Dann ist es ein feines Accessoire für den Frühling oder Sommer. In jedem Fall ist dieses Tuch auch gut als schönes Geschenk geeignet.

Somebody asked me how to knit a Ruffle Scarf. I put on my thinking cap, had an idea and picked up the needles. The Ruffle Wrap turned out just like I envisaged, with a discreet center line and a small “Knoetchen”-pattern (like a small bobble, but knit differently) in the flat section.

A wonderful choice for knitting the Rueschenstola would be Merino wool, being so soft, cuddly and warm when the cold days arrive. Knit this wrap with cotton or lace yarn for a completely different appearance, an exquisite fashion accessory for spring or summer. Whichever yarn you use, this wrap will also make a very personal and beautiful gift.

The ruffles required about 1/3 of the total amount of yarn.

There is an abbreviated Central Chart for 250 stitches for anybody not wishing or needing to see every stitch, as well as 3 complete Charts for the 3 different sizes with cast on 200/250/300 stitches (every left i.e. right half on one page, respectively). The complete Charts are not translated, for translation you can use the Central Chart. The texts are the same, only the numbers are different.

With a CO of 300 stitches the wrap has a length of
approx. 180 cm and 25 cm width at the center top.

Definition “Knötchenmuster” überarbeitet und ergänzt:
3M li zusammen stricken, die nun zusammen gestrickten (alten) 3 Maschen jedoch nicht von der linken Nd gleiten lassen, sondern aus diesen 3 (alten) Maschen noch 1M re + 1M li stricken, somit sind auf der rechten Nd 3 neue Maschen: 1Mli / 1M re / 1Mli. Dann erst die 3 (alten, zusammengestrickten) Maschen von der linken Nd gleiten lassen.

“Knoetchen”-pattern modified and complemented:
Purl 3 stitches together = p3tog. Do not drop the three (old) stitches from the left needle, k1 and p1 out of the 3 (old) stitches still on the left needle. You have now three new stitches on the right needle (1p/1k/1p). Then drop the 3 old stitches from the left needle.
