Ruffled Alpaca is an amigurumi alpaca made using a special technique. Using the front and back loops, the alpaca is crocheted with layers of shells that give him an authentic texture.

Ruffled Alpaca is made using any worsted weight yarn, and is stuffed with polyester fiberfill. You will need between 375-425 yards. Use alpaca yarn for extra fun and luxury! I used a G hook for my alpacas, but use whichever size crochet hook necessary to create a firm fabric that does not show the stuffing.
