Gauge: 5 sts: 1 inch (Only important at the collar)

Materials Needed:
-US 6 16 inch circular needles
-US 8 24 inch circular needles
-Stitch markers
-Size H crochet hook
-A shawl pin or some way to keep stitches together
the ends together (I used a toothless hair clip)
-Scissors
-A yarn needle

Schematics:
Neck circumference= 20 in.
Width from cast on edge to bind off edge= 4 in.
Length of all four sides: 11 ½ in.

I used about a skein of yarn.

To clarify the bind off:

To BO 3 sts together, insert the hook into the next three stitches on the left needle and slip them off of the needle and onto the hook. With the stitches now on the hook, wrap the yarn around the hook once and pull this new loop or stitch through the three already on the hook. Then chain five. Once you have already completed this once, maintain the last stitch from the chain 5, and after slipping 3 stitches from the needle to the hook, bind off the three stitches as well as the last stitch from the chain 5 together.
