This pattern was designed for a 14”-15” soft bodied baby doll such as the American Girl Bitty Baby®, Corolle Baby Doll® Mon Bebe Classique®, Baby Stella®, Cabbage Patch®, or the 14” Madame Alexander®. If knitting for Madame Alexander®, take a few stitches out of the sides or it will be very baggy. I have made other adjustments for length of torso based on the doll you are knitting for in the pattern. You will just eliminate rows where it has no affect on shaping.

The onesie is worked from the bottom up; the legs are knitted and joined for the torso. The sleeves are knitted separately and then added to the torso and finished in a raglan style with a back opening. A separate ruffle is knitted and then sewn to the neckband of the onesie.

The jumper is knitted in one piece from the bottom up, and has one underarm seam and straps that are sewn to the back bib.
