This knitted crop top and basic knitted skirt are a fun addition to your doll’s wardrobe. They can be combined with many other pieces of clothing, and since you can make them in any color imaginable, the possibilities are just about endless.

This project is beginner friendly. You need basic knitting skills, as well as knowledge of easy sewing.

A tutorial to shape the back button rows is included in text and pictures.

The item(s) made with this pattern were meant to fit an 18-inch American Girl doll, as shown in the pictures. However, they will also fit similar dolls, such as Our Generation, My Life As, and others. I added a sizing chart to the pictures, to help you compare your dolls to the American Girl dolls.

For this pattern I used:

~ Mainstays 100% Acrylic yarn, 4-medium in the color Black, but you can use any other 4-medium worsted weight yarn you choose.

~ Knitting needles size: US 8 - 5.00 mm
