I used 3 different colors of (3) weight yarn. If you choose to use a worsted weight yarn (and meet gauge), please note that the skirt will come out kind of heavy. I do not recommend using worsted weight. The bloomers are attached to the skirt and this pattern includes a video tutorial to get through the first two rounds to set up the foundation for layers. You will only need 1 skein of each color.
