These rugged mittens are warm and quick-to-knit. The oil in the natural wool protects the wearer from the elements, keeping the hands protected and warm, even when wet.

If you don’t have ragg wool, you can make it by knitting or spinning 2 strands of wool, (one light, one dark), together. Just be sure to get the correct gauge before starting. You will be surprised at how little yardage is needed and how quickly they knit up.
