Ruja is a triangle shawl worked sideways from left tip to right side.

Stitches are increased at the neck edge.

The all over lace pattern keeps you entertained.

Material

The shawl requires approx. 250 gr (685 yds / 625 m) of DK weight yarn

The sample shown used 6 skeins of Island Blend by Rowan (DK, 70% Wool - Falkland / 15 % Camelid - Alpaca, 15% Silk - Bombyx, 137 yds / 125 m per 50 gr, color no. 908

One US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle (or size to obtain a fabric you like), 32 “ / 60 cm or longer, stitch markers (optional), tapestry needle

Gauge in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

19 sts x 30 r = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm

Finished size after blocking (wingspan x depth)

80 ” / 200 cm x 36 ” / 90 cm
