A fun and festive winter hat or slouchy! With a classic look and a visual chart this pattern is relaxing to work up while you escape the cold.

Supplies
5.0 mm (US 8) circular needles (or DPNs)
Stitch Marker
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Faux Fur Fabric for optional pompom

Yarn:
Malabrigo Worsted
Color A: Ravelry Red; Color B: Natural
As long as gauge is met, other medium yarns can be substituted:
Manos Del Uruguay Maxima
Valley Yarns BFL Worsted
Knit Picks Preciosa Worsted
Cascade Yarns Boliviana

Abbreviations / Stitches
k- knit
p- purl
k2tog- knit two stitches together
Gauge: 24 rows x 20 stitches = 4 inch x 4 inch in stockinette. Adjust needle size to obtain gauge if needed.
Measurements in Inches: Newborn 7 ½ wide by 7 ¼ tall; Baby 8 wide by 8 tall; Toddler 9 wide by 9 tall; Preschool 9 ½ wide by 10 tall, Child 10 wide by 11 tall; Teen/Adult 10 ¾ wide by 12 tall; Adult 11 ¼ by 12 ¼ tall
Skill Level: Intermediate

Yardage: Newborn 95 yards; Baby 160 yards; Toddler 175 yards; Preschool 200 yards, Child 240 yards; Teen/Adult 250 yards; Adult 270 yards
