Make this fair-isle design beanie with this experienced beginner-friendly pattern.

You will need to know how to work with two colors at the same time to create the wording pattern and fair-isle design.

This hat calls for a worsted acrylic as well such as Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice or Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn! Just be sure to check your gauge and adjust your needle size as needed.

Hat instruction are for an adult size only - should fit head circumferences of 21-23”. Hat measures approximately 8” cast-on edge to finished top. If you plan to make it with the cotton yarn and wash it after using on a run, keep in mind it will shrink a little if put in through the dryer. I have shrunk mine and it still fits wonderfully.

Pattern includes a chart for the design, but also written instructions for the chart if you prefer reading your instructions instead. There are detailed notes for the pattern that include links to outside sources for some of the techniques used.
