CONSTRUCTION
- Cardigan is worked bottom up, separating at underarms to work fronts and back separately.
- Shoulders are joined using a Joinery Bind Off.
- Stitches are picked up around the armhole for working top-down sleeves circularly. The sleeve cap is shaped using short rows.
MATERIALS
Approximately 1025 (1120, 1220, 1310, 1430, 1545, 1685, 1790) yards of worsted weight wool yarn
8 (8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12, 13) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (100% American Targhee-Columbia Wool; 140 yards/50g)

GAUGE
Working and Finished Gauge:
25 stitches & 27 rows= 4” in Flying Wings Pattern on Size A needles
20 stitches & 36 rows= 4” in Seed Stitch on Size B needles
19 stitches & 32 rows= 4” in Seed Stitch on Size C needles
NEEDLES
Size A (Used for Bodice and Hood): One 32 or 40” circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
Suggested Size: 5 mm (US 8)
Size B (Used for Lower Body): One 32 or 40” circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6)
Size C (Used for Sleeves and Ribbing): One 32 or 40” and one 16” circular needle and one set of DPNs (optional - if you prefer working magic loop on sleeves then you will not need the DPNs) in size needed to obtain gauge listed
Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7)
FINISHED DIMENSIONS
30¼ (33¼, 36¼, 39, 42, 44¾, 47¾, 50½)” finished (blocked) circumference at chest
