“I knit this sweet, hooded cardigan on a recent trip to Iceland. While there I discovered that my name has a common nickname in the country – “Runa” – which seemed like the perfect namesake for my newest sweater design!”– Gudrun Johnston

CONSTRUCTION

  • Cardigan is worked bottom up, separating at underarms to work fronts and back separately.
  • Shoulders are joined using a Joinery Bind Off.
  • Stitches are picked up around the armhole for working top-down sleeves circularly. The sleeve cap is shaped using short rows.
