Warm mittens made from Léttlopi or robust sheep’s wool. Quickly knitted, also well suited as a first project with DPN’s. With a little two-color section and a simple thumb gusset.
The mittens are knitted in two colours, but the pattern is only in the shaft of the mittens. The colour section ends before the thumb gusset starts, so it’s not difficult to read the pattern.
This makes it a good start to practising two-colour knitting I think.
You can choose between two options for the hem, a normal one or a twisted rib hem. The length of the mittens is variable as there is no pattern in the upper part.

Yarn: 50 g Léttlopi light ash heather 0054, and leftovers in black 0052
Needle: DPN’s 3.5 mm (US 4) or a short needle 3.5 mm
Gauge: 20 sts x 26 rds = 10 cm
Twisted Ribbing Cuff: k1tbl, p1 or Normal Rib Cuff: k1, p1

Warme Fäustlinge aus Léttlopi oder robuster Schafwolle. Schnell gestrickt, auch gut geeignet als erstes Projekt mit einem Nadelspiel. Mit einem kleinen zweifarbigen Teil und einem einfachen Daumenzwickel.
Die Fäustlinge sind zweifarbig gestrickt, das Muster befindet sich nur im Schaft der Fäustlinge. Das eingestrickte Muster endet, bevor der Daumenzwickel beginnt. Für das Bündchen gibt es zwei Optionen, das einfache Rippenbündchen oder mit einem Twist, dass heißt mit rechten verschränkten Maschen. Die Länge der Fäustlinge ist variabel, du bestimmst selber, wie lang deine Fäustlinge werden.
