Ruoho ja varpu -lapaset syntyivät halusta tehdä jotain pientä kivaa hetken mielijohteena ostetusta langasta. Mallineuleiksi valikoituivat kuviot, jotka tuovat langan vaihtuvat värit hyvin esille. Lapaset on neulottu suositusta pienemmillä puikoilla, jotta pinnasta tulisi tarpeeksi tiivis.

Ohje on tarkoitettu neulojille, joille peruslapasmalli on jo tuttu, se ei siis sisällä yksityiskohtaista kuvausta lapasen rakenteesta. Ohje on testineulottu vain kerran, joten se voi vielä sisältää epäselvyyksiä tai virheitä.

The Grasses and Shrubs mittens came about when I wanted to make something nice and quick out of yarn I bought on a whim. I chose stitch patterns which I felt accented the yarn structure and colours. They were knit on smaller needles than the yarn manufacturer recommended to make the surface nice and dense.
This pattern does not contain a detailed description of this type of mitten structure, so it’s best suited for those who are already familiar with the basic construction. The pattern has only been test knit once, so it MAY contain mistakes.
