Rushmore Cowl
Add any five self-published patterns from my Ravelry Store to your shopping cart and the least expensive one is free.
Rushmore Cowl is knit in the round in one piece. It’s unique texture is created by staggered pleating of horizontal purl stitch bands. The purl stitches can be further emphasized by working them in a contrast color, but the design is effective in either one or two colors. The pleats make Rushmore warm and cozy and, as one tester described it, “the pleating is addictive!”
This is a quick and easy knit, requiring only knit and purl know how. The technique for pleating is fully explained with a photo tutorial. Pattern is easily modified into a longer infinity cowl or a flat scarf.
