Starting with Judy’s Magic Cast On (optional) the scarf is worked as a tube in stockinette st in the round and is grafted closed at the end using Kitchener Stitch. Yarn
Both samples use yarns that are light and fluffy, this is intentional as it means your scarf will not be stiff and heavy so keep this in mind when looking for alternatives. Blown, unspun and multiple strands of fluffy lace/fingering weight yarns are great choices. Avoid yarns that are 100% merino, alpaca or cotton when using a single strand as these will be very heavy. If using mutiple strands,
the given meterage applies to each strand.
2 colours - 250 375m / 100 150g of each colour.
3 colours - 150 240m / 50 80g of each colour
Grams refer to suggested yarns, make sure to check the meterage of your chosen yarn is as close to those suggested as possible.
