This crochet pattern is for a cute little Russer, the pet dog from the hit classic show, Nanalan.

This easy (but not beginner) crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

You will need:
• 60 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in White
• 10 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in Brown
• Scrap amounts size 4 worsted weight yarn in Black
• Crochet hook size 4.0 mm
• 2 black buttons (ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age)
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker

Notes
• Russer’s body and head are worked in one piece.
• Russer is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up; do not join unless instructed to do so. Place marker in first st of round and move up as work progresses.
• Russer’s limbs, ears, tail and muzzle are worked separately and sewn on.
• Stuff firmly, but not so the stuffing shows through the stitches.
• The finished piece is approximately 4.5 inches tall.
• A magic ring may be used to begin pieces if preferred.
