Rustic
A small pouch knit in simple stockinette, this bag is perfect for practicing a yarny version of tambour embroidery.
Tambour is much easier than colorwork, but the results are still lovely. Unfortunately, I am unable to include any sort of template or such for you to follow if you wanted to replicate the alpaca design, simply because I don’t know how it would help. When used with knitting, tambour is done freeform (at least when I do it). So in this pattern, I give you the instructions for knitting the pouch, along with instructions for how to work tambour.
Gauge
This was given away to an alpaca farm owner before I had the chance to measure the gauge, but it was around 5 stitches to an inch, with the bag measuring 5 inches wide to 7 inches high.
