It creates a lovely ribbed effect and fits most terrier types.

Finished measurements are:

Neck: 13 (14)
Chest: 5.25 (5.5)
Girth: 16.5 (18)
Length: 12 (14)
depending on if you use a 4.5 or 5 hook.

My dog Toby has an 11 inch neck and a 19 inch girth. (the crochet stitches stretches so that the coat doesn’t sag).
