Background of the throw
The RUSTIC DIAMONDS throw was inspired by a photo I found on Pinterest.

More about the throw
The throw is designed by myself, Annamarie Joubert-Esterhuizen, using a blend of 50% bamboo and 50% cotton.

The finished size is 130cm wide x 150cm long. The Mosaic technique used is Tapestry Mosaic overlay crochet.

The throw has no ends to weave but if you wish to leave the ends, you can and finish off with fringes. The throw is worked in rows working on the front of the work only. You will also learn how to change colors in one row. With some rows you will use more than two colors. The method to change colors is the Tapestry crochet method.

You can use your own yarn or order a kit which includes 37 x 50g Blend cotton/bamboo that is enough to finish the throw. Each 50g of yarn is 125mtrs.
