The Rustic Evergreen Beanie Bundle crochet pattern includes both Beanie and Messy Bun version.

This would be considered an intermediate skill level pattern. You must know how to do do crochet colorwork. You must know how to fphdc and bphdc.

Materials:
You will need #4 worsted weight yarn, 5.00 mm crochet hook, and a tapestry needle.

Let’s talk yarn!
You will need 180 yards of yarn in whatever color you want your hat to be! You will need 180 yards per hat. You will also need 25 yard of green yarn and a scrap amount of brown yarn for the trunk. Use any colors or brands of your choosing as long as they are #4 worsted weight yarn!

Abbreviations:
-Ch: chain
-Sl st: slip stitch
-Sc: single crochet
-Hdc: half double crochet
-Dc: double crochet
-Blo: back loop only
-Bphdc: back post half double crochet
-Fphdc: front post half double crochet

Sizing & Final Measurements:
This is a one size fits most pattern. The finished hats will fit 18-22-inch head circumference! Both hats comfortably fit myself as well as my 6-yr. old daughter. The finished messy bun hat will measure 7 inches tall by 9 inches wide when laying flat. The beanie hat will measure 8 inched tall by 9 inches wide when laying flat.

Gauge:
7 sc sts by 7 sc rows = 2 inches.
