The Rustic Lace Slouch Hat and the Rustic Lace Scarf (pattern sold separately) make the perfect light weight, lacy set for cooler temperatures! They work up fairly quickly and use only chains and double crochets. Be sure to check out the Rustic Lace Scarf pattern that is also available in my shop for only $1.99!

The two patterns are different. The scarf is worked flat, while the hat is worked in the round. That is why they are not sold together in one pattern.

You will need an H/8 (5.00 mm) and a G (4.25 mm) crochet hook and size 1 super fine weight yarn. Instructions are included for using a heavier weight yarn, but no exact foundation chain (starting chain) numbers are given. See the Notes section of the pattern.

The finished size is approximately 10” Width x 9” Height (20” Circumference – it’s stretchy)
