Just 1 skein needed for entire hat (for the main color). since there are 3 colors used, there are small amounts for rib and edge needed = 3 different color skeins. Out of 3 skeins 3 hats could be knitted - by making all colors in different layout.
(or you may wish to use just 2 colors by making rib and edge to be the same color).
