The Rustic Luv Beanie is a classic timeless looking toque worked in the waistcoat stitch. It is a fun hat to create, and the colour options are limited only by your imagination. Experience in reading a graph, doing the Waistcoat Stitch, carrying yarn and doing colour changes is highly recommended for making this pattern.
Loose tension is required to obtain an optimal fit.
This pattern is for an Adult/Teen size only, but could easily be made into smaller sizes with a change of hook sizes and a reduction of a few stitches.
A test gage is recommended before starting the pattern.
Less than a skein of each colour is needed, and there is 200 yards or less of total yarn usage.

Supplies

• 4 colours of (#4)worsted yarn. Softer types like ILTY, or Bernat Premium work well as they have a bit of stretch to them, which helps when doing the Waistcoat Stitch
• 5mm (US H-8) and 6mm(USJ-10) crochet hooks
