SKILL LEVEL
Easy - Level 2: this pattern is worked in single crochet, with some increasing and decreasing for shaping. The patterns uses an “invisible” increase/decrease technique (explained in detail in the pattern) to create a cleaner finished piece. The hat and scarf accessories are made separately and sewn on to the snowman panel.

DIMENSIONS
Each snowman is about 6.5 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. As written, the finished garland is about 70 inches long.

MATERIALS
You will need a size F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook for this project. For each snowman, you will need about 40 yards of heavy worsted weight yarn (4) for the main color (regular worsted weight can be substituted, but your finished snowman may be a smidge smaller than the dimensions given). For the whole garland (5 snowmen), I used about 2 balls of Snuggle Puff yarn by We Crochet.

You will also need about 60 yards of worsted yarn for the hats, a few yards of worsted for the scarves, and a small amount of Polyfill or other stuffing material. If you would like to string your snowmen on a garland, you will need additional yarn, string, or twine.
