Rustic Squares Temperature Blanket
A temperature blanket with a difference.
The ‘Rustic Squares’ temperature blanket uses the beautiful, subtle tones of Stylecraft Highland Heathers yarn, to create a unique temperature blanket.
Each diagonal row represents the daily temperature high/low/average for where you live. There’s a square for each month of the year
The pattern uses a c2c technique and it’s quicker to make than a conventional temperature blanket. I found catching up weekly (for just 20 minutes) was a great way of staying on track.
The finished blanket is a much more manageable size too (90x 135cm).
The temperature scale is based on the UK climate in degrees celcius, but it can easily be adapted to your own climate and temperature scale.
The pattern includes photos and a step by step written guide, available in US or UK terminology.
Hook size: 5mm/H-8.
Yarn weight: DK.
The pattern requires 16 x 100g balls of yarn in total, including borders.
