Rustic Summer Asymmetrical Shawl
The Rustic Summer Asymmetrical Shawl is one of my favorite pieces from the Rustic Summer collection. The shawl is constructed on the bias, making the size easily customizable - just keep making pattern repeats until you are happy with the final size!

This pattern is available free to view on my blog (available here). A downloadable and printable ad-free PDF is also available to purchase. The PDF includes additional tips and tricks, plus photos to help you through the first pattern repeat.
This pattern is written in ENGLISH using US terminology and has been tested by others. It includes detailed instructions for the featured stitches with photos to help with stitch placement.
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
Skills used: single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, herringbone half double crochet, increases, working in turned rows
MATERIALS:
- Recommended Yarn & Hook: At least 725 yards of #3/DK yarn and a J/6.0mm hook. However, final yardage will vary depending on final shawl size.
- Because of how the shawl is constructed, any yarn weight can technically be used. See blog post for more.
