Rusty Waves Shawl is a soft and warm triangle-shaped shawl with wide seamless zigzag edging. The pattern consists of basic stitches and simple lace. This pattern is also suitable for different yarns. YARN and NEEDLE
Concept by Katia cotton-merino, 70% Cotton/30% Virgin Wool, color 052, 50 g = 105 m/115 yds and gauge 16 sts/10 cm (4”). You need 185 g/426 yards for the shawl.
The following yarns are suitable for a light summer scarf:
-Austermann Cashmere Cloud, 46 % Wool/34 % Cotton/20 % Cashmere, 25 g = 180 m (Need:2 balls)
-Austermann Coleen Linen, 60 % Flax/25 % Cotton/15 % Viscose, 50 g = 120 m (Need:3 balls)
-Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, 77 % Alpaca/23 % Silk, 25 g = 140 m (Need:3 balls)
-Rosarios 4 Re-Use, 100 g = 192 m (Need: 2 balls)
One pair size 5 mm (US 8) needles
(or circular needle 5 mm/60 cm, US 8/24”)
