These mittens knit up really quickly. Alternating two colours and knitting on a fairly small needle for the chunkiness of the yarn makes for a really warm mitten that blocks the wind.

This is a great starter pattern for anyone wanting to try Fair Isle knitting for the first time.

Materials:
Any chunky weight yarn (Sandnesgarn Alfa or Fritidsgarn): 2 balls Main Colour (MC), 1 ball Contrast Colour (CC)
4.5 mm & 5.5 mm Double Pointed Needles
Small stitch holder or scrap piece of yarn
Stitch markers

Sizes: Small (Medium, Large): 3.5” (3.75”, 4”) across when laid flat
