The Ruthie Wrap is a cozy and adjustable neck wrap that combines several different yarns of varying colors and weights together to create a truly one of a kind piece. It is a great project to use up yarn scraps and works up quickly.

Size can easily be adjusted, and the button closure enables the neck wrap to be worn lose or snug as the button can slip thru anywhere due to the lose knit.

This project entails mixing several yarns together of varied weights (Super Bulky and bulky weights) so the gauge may slightly vary.

The Ruthie Wrap uses six different yarns. Merino wool is preferable due to its’ soft and non itchy characteristics that work well next to sensitive skin.

Yarn:

Yarn Combo #1. Approximately 32 yards are needed of three colors that will be worked together. One Super Bulky, two bulky or light bulky.

Yarn Combo #2. Approx 10 yards are needed of three colors that will be worked together to contrast the Yarn Combo #1

Due to the limited amount of individual yarn used, this pattern is excellent for utilizing scrap yarn.
