Rutilated Shrug
Buy individually, or as part of the entire The Sun and Fog Winter 2022 Stone collection.
Rutiles are fine needles of titanium dioxide, often found in quartz, which add color and pattern to the stones. When holding a strand of Rowan Kidsilk Haze with two strands of Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted, the silk and mohair dance in and out of each stitch, adding color and pattern to your fabric. Don’t be afraid to use a bold color of Kidsilk Haze; as it mixes with the Pure Wool, it will be toned down. Have fun playing with all the color-mixing possibilities!
Rutilated Shrug is worked in pieces and seamed, then finished with edging along the front and neckline.
SIZES
This shrug is like a big shawl with sleeves and a wide-open front so it will fit a range of bodies. To decide on the best size for you, look at your cross-back measurement and allow at least 5” / 13 cm of ease.
