The techniques involved are basic knitting stitches, i cord bind off

Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Sport - Color Ruby (893) (1.75oz/50g, 136 yds/125m)
Amount required approx. (tassels not included): size 12/18m: 209 yds (2 skeins); size 1/2: 277 yds (3 skeins); size 3/4: 353 yds (skeins); size 5/6: 530 yds (4 skeins); size 7/10: 698 yds (6 skeins); size XS/M: 851 yds (7 skeins); size L/XL: 1018 yds (8 skeins).

3.75 mm (US 5) double pointed needles/circular needles
darning needle
stitch marker

Fits chest circumference: 18 (20, 22, 24, 27) 32, 38 inches. Pictured size 3/4 on a 2.5 year old.
