Ryder Hood
- Pattern is currently being tested. Estimated release date 3/1/21
The Ryder Hood was designed to fit under a jacket hood but be plush enough to stand alone. The elongated front gives enough protection that you won’t need a scarf and the added weight of the poms on the end give good balance if you chose to pull the hood down when the sun comes out!
This hood is worked in Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique. Many of the instructions assume you have prior knowledge of standard crochet terms and Mosaic construction. While I chose to cut my yarn at the end of every row, you may chose to work in endless overlay. The hood can be worked successfully in those endless techniques.
If you are unfamiliar, do not worry I offer a free download that teaches all the basic techniques needed.
Gauge: While gauge is not a huge issue with this pattern, if you choose to go up or down in yarn weight you will need to adjust the starting chain to compensate. The repeat is very simple and allows for multiple size adjustments if you are able to do the math needed.
