Another Far Cry hat! If you know any of my work, you know I’m heavily influenced by video games and various nerd-dom. So, when I played Far Cry: New Dawn and saw Carmina, the teeny baby we saved in Far Cry 5 all grown up, I couldn’t help but think “Baby Rye! She’s a lady now! All grown up! Her hat….damn girl, that hat.” Also, if you claim spoilers, I’m very sorry, but you had a year to play that game so shame on you for waiting so long because it. is. excellent.

Rye and Daughter is my recreation of Carmina’s hat in Far Cry: New Dawn, which is fantastic and textural. The best part about this, aside from how great the texture of the design is, is that it is superbly unisex. Yes, you heard me, THIS DESIGN IS SUPER GREAT FOR ANYONE!

YOU SHALL NEED:
-approx 75 yards each 2 colors of dk (weight 3) yarn OR 1 Lion Brand Mandala cake in Centaur, cut that cake, I used the rust and purple/grey for this hat!
-US 6 (4mm) circular needles
-US 10 (6mm) circular needles and dpns for decreases
-embroidery needle
-stitch marker
