Rye cowl and hats
The cowl is designed as a tube, starting with a provisional cast-on and knit in the round so you can graft the beginning stitches to the end stitches to make a perfect tube.
Two beanies are worked in different cable pattern.
SIZE
Hats to fit head circumference:
22 - 23” / 56 - 58 cm
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Hats: 19 ½” / 50 cm circumference (unstretched);
9 ½” / 24 cm height;
Cowl: 30 ½” / 78 cm circumference;
11 ¾” / 30 cm width.
YARN
Shelter by Brooklyn Tweed (100% Wyoming-grown Targhee-Columbia wool; 140 yards / 50 gr)
700 yards / 250 gr total for one hat and the cowl.
168 yards / 60 gr for one hat;
532 yards / 190 gr for the cowl.
