You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other stitches used in the pattern are explained. This pattern uses Extended single crochet stitch (Exsc, explained in the pattern with step by step photos).

This pattern is written in English, standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process.

Pattern includes instructions for 6 different sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.

Materials (made with 3 different colors)
Yarn weight is worsted weight for all colors

Color 1 (turtleneck)» 530(590,640,700,760,830) meters / 580(645,700,765,830,907) yds
Color 2 » 320(350,370,400,430,460) meters / 350(382,404,437,470,503) yds
Color 3 » 320(350,370,400,430,460) meters / 350(382,404,437,470,503) yds

The pink/orange cardigan in the pictures is made with mixed yarns from my stash: Color 1> pink is Natural non superwash merino 100g = 140m/153yds (This yarn was slightly too thick, so the gauge with ribbing was little bit off), color 2> multicolored yarn is superwash Merino 100g =164m/180yds and color 3 is Malabrigo Dos Tierras (DK yarn, so slightly too fine).
The Blue/sand colored cardi is made with handdyed superwash Merino 100g = 164m/180yds (all colors).

Other yarn suggestions> Stylecraft - Special Aran, Debbie Bliss - Donegal Luxury Tweed Aran, Reborn Wool Recycled – Kremke Soul Wool, Lang Yarns – Touring, Malabrigo-Rios. Use any yarn to fit into the gauge.

Crochet hooks> Hook for the yoke/body/sleeves 7mm/K/10.5. For the ribbings: 6mm/J/10. Check the gauge and use any hook!

Can be also made with only 2 colors or just with 1 color.
