Sabline (Arenaria grandiflora L.) has small white flowers erected on a long pedicel. They have inspired me the stiches pattern of the sweater.

Sabline is worked top down seamlessly. The yoke is worked with four rows of increases. When it is completed, the body and sleeves are separated. Body is worked straight in stocking sts, button bands being knit at the same time. Then stitches are picked up at the armhole and sleeves are worked in the round toward the wrist.

Plassard, Week End (50% wool, 50% acrylique; 1oz¾ / 50 g, 138 yds / 125 m), shown in colour 1200 white: 3 (3, 4), (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) balls (including yarn for the swatch).

US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle for working the body (or the size needed to obtain correct gauge).
US 3 / 3.25 mm circular needle (or one size smaller that the main needle).

Gauge
22 sts x 31 rows worked in stocking sts over 4 in / 10 cm using US 4 / 3.5 mm needle, washed and blocked.
