• Yarn of your choice (I used 2-3 weight acrylic/wool blends in 3 colours)
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 2.5mm for the hat and 3.5mm for the base and ties)
• Darning/sewing needle
• Scissors
• Stitch marker

Stitches/techniques:

• Making a magic ring
• Making a chain
• Single crochet (SC)
• Single crochet in the front loop only (SC FLO)
• Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
• Changing colours
• Invisible finishing stitch (optional)
• Weaving in ends
• Sewing parts together
