Crocodile/Gator: 8.5” L x 16” W (longest part at eyes)

What you’ll need to know:
MR – magic ring
Ch - chain
Sl st – slip stitch
Sc – single crochet
Dc – double crochet
TC – triple/treble crochet
2sc, 3sc – 2sc, 3sc in one stitch (increase)
Sc2tog, sc3tog – sc two stitches together, sc three stitches together (decrease)
Sk – skip stitch (you’ll leave it unworked)
TO – tie off/fasten off
How to sc an edge onto a piece (you work into the end of every row)
Basic embroidery (for nostrils, mouths)

What you’ll need for construction:
Polyfiber fill (or stuffing of your choice)
3.25mm (size D) crochet hook
Yarn needle
Aran/worsted weight (like Red Heart Super Saver or I Love This Yarn!) yarn in the colors of your choice for the animals of your choice

Notes:
 This pattern is written with U.S. terminology.
 Gauge is not critical. However, my gauge was 4 sts x 4 rows = 1”.
 These are all worked in rows (except for the pupils of the eyes and the horns on the giraffe, which are worked in the round). Unless otherwise indicated, ch 1 at the end of each row to turn.
 These pillow pals require a lot of artistic judgment, where placing the facial features is up to you. I make suggestions based on where I placed mine. But, yours may be different. Therefore, you may wish to use pins to pin them into place before you sew them on and ignore where I placed mine. I attached all of my facial features with a yarn needle using whip stitches. (Except for the mouth on the lion, where I used some super-basic embroidery.)
