Safe Haven Shawl
My safe haven from this cold winter, this generous almost-a-circle shawl gives good coverage to the upper body. Knit in easy garter stitch using 560 yards of yarn (450 for body, 110 in a contrasting color for border) on size 8 needles, the blocked shawl measured 49” at neckline x 21” deep x 113” bottom edge. It can be knit with any weight of yarn by changing the needle size to suit the yarn.
