Sag River Lined Headband
This is a very warm, windproof headband that I designed for winter explorers after working along the Sag River in northern Alaska for three years.
This pattern is great for intermediate/advanced beginner knitters, and is also a great stashbuster!
The headband is knit as two pieces: a cabled headband and a soft inner liner. The pieces are then attached together using an attached I-cord edge, with a full picture tutorial included. The headband and the attached I-cord edge are knit with worsted-weight yarn, while the inner liner is knit with sport-weight yarn.
Other techniques needed include knowledge of cables, provisional cast-on, and kitchener stitch. A link to a resources webpage for each of these techniques is provided.
