Gauge: 20 sts in 10cm/ 4in stockinette stitch. Row gauge is not important for this pattern, as all the measurements are given in both centimeters and inches. Only the stitch count matters!

This balaclava is knit flat.

You will need: Worsted yarn (120-150 grams), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (for knitting flat), two stitch markers, a darning needle, a sewing needle and a matching thread, and 12 buttons.
