Sagebrush Socks
Inspired by blooming gardens and morning sunshine, the Sagebrush Socks are a simple, elegant pair of socks for the warmer months. They are knitted from the cuff down with a whimsical lace pattern panel on the front and a short row heel.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)
Foot Circumference (pick a size with approx. 2.5cm (1”) negative ease):
6 (7, 8, 9, 10)”
Sample shown in size 3 with 2.5cm (1”) negative ease
Yarn: Fingering weight. Sample is made in Hazel Knits Artisan Sock (90% merino, 10% nylon; 400 yd/120 g), colourway Double Bubble
Meterage (with 10% buffer):
72 (82, 92, 102, 112) g
320 (360, 400, 440, 480) yds
292 (237, 366, 402, 439) m
1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins
Needles: Size 0 (2mm) 80cm circular needles or size to obtain gauge.
Notions: st m, darning needle, st holder or piece of scrap yarn
Gauge: 35sts and 50 rounds in 4” in St st in the round
