The body is worked from the bottom up to the armholes in Moss stitch with ribbed front bands. The last stitch of every row is slipped to create a neat edge. The sleeves are worked in the round with a center cable, then body and sleeves are joined and the upper body is completed with raglan shaping.

Gauge
Make a small ball of double-stranded CC1 and one of double stranded CC2. The double strands help secure the colorwork and make the design stand out.
Work the charts as follows: With MC, work to the first CC square. Leaving a tail at the back of the work, bring CC forward between the needle tips and let it hang in front of the work. With MC, knit the specified number of CC sts, then move CC to the back. (The double strand of CC covers the MC stockinette.) Work with MC to the next CC square and rep from across the row. Pull gently at the CC ends to even out the tension. The CC should be snug but not pulled too tight.
On WS rows, the CC will begin at the front and you will move it to the back (RS of work) for the colored squares and to the front (WS of work) for the MC squares.
