Sahar a Mosaic Pillow Case
Subscribe to my Newsletter for pattern sales and discount
Sahar is created using the overlay mosaic crochet technique.
It is inspired by and derived from ancient patterns on Persian rugs.
Upon purchase, you’ll get row-by-row written instructions and one X-marked chart.
The pattern is very easy to follow and great for beginners, although the more experienced crocheters also will enjoy making great projects.
Sahar has been used to create a variety of different projects such as tote bags, scarves, blankets, table runners, and cushions. Don’t limit yourself to the suggested project. Use it as you wish.
I cannot wait to see what you might come up with. Please share your makes on Social Media and give credit to Mahoor Design.
Here is the yarn and hook info:
For this Pillow Case, I used two skeins of each color:
Yarn:
Main Color: Red Heart Comfort
Opposing color: Super Savor
Hook
5 mm
For Mosaic crochet, you only need to know how to make single-crochet and double-crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. The back is striped.
