Simple 2 color hat pattern, in garter st,with short rows (how to included).
Suitable for beginner knitters, or knitters who want an easy, fast non-demanding project.

To adjust size do an easy calculation to change the length of the short row.
It’s really easy.

Gauge does not have to be precise, it’s a very forgiving pattern that does not point out mistakes :)
Instead of making a gauge piece, estimate how many sts you think you will need, and just start knitting. Stop and measure after few rows, and adjust if needed.

Materials recommended:
Needles #13US/9mm for adult hat (10.5 for child and #8 for baby)
2 yarns that plays nicely against each other, like a variegated with a solid or plain with textures yarn. Very small amount is needed.

The pdf includes:
The basic pattern.
Suggestions for how to do Baby, child and a light hat.
Easy scarf in case you need it.
And as a surprise, 2 variations on the pattern (easy, but requires st.st).

I love this pattern. It is easy and fun to make and very comfy to wear.
This is the second one, the first is “Sahavas Hat’ for beginners.
